What DIY spray can I make to put by my bed in order to deter bugs?

You can spray with cinnamon and then add a water proof mattress protector, the kind that is recommended for allergies.

I use Greenerways Bug Repellent, its made from lemongrass oil, citronella oil and cedar oils... all repel bugs. Mint oil also repels bugs. Just mix your oils in a spray bottle with a very fine mist nozzle, shake and spray.
