Assuming you want a design, in a corner I would test mixing acrylic with fabric medium. I’m thinking thr fabic medium would allow it to flex.

Paint (Testors brand) used for model cars works great for this type of mat. It adheres to the PVC and colors can be intermixed. It can is found in craft stores and is very inexpensive. It is oil based but dries super quick.
