How do you restore chrome bathroom fixtures?

My bathroom chrome sconce has a small area that cannot be poished and it looks like it was affected by moisture. What can I do to either restore it or make it much less noticable--- chrome touch up paint, etc?

You can spray paint with RustOleum. They have a line for metal.

  @Em: used the technique as outlined in the link and got really good results--at least an improvement to what I started with. There's still some buffing to do but the photo shows an "after". Now...because these sconces weren't expensive enough with thick chrome coating, I did get some yellowish base color coming through but nothing as noticable as what was there before or as visible from below. I used Rustoleoum too and it worked great....get the chrome spray....green can

Rustoleum 2X spray paint for metal. You will need to sand smooth.
