Can you give me a recommendation for a good carpet tape?
Can someone suggest a carpet tape for throw rugs for a laminate floor? My rugs have a rubber backing and they still slide around! I’ve purchased several different things but nothing works. I’d like to use a tape but have no clue as to which one to buy. Thank you!

Perhaps go to a flooring store. They would be your best bet for finding the right product. If all else fails, you could use double sided, self sticking velcro that comes on a roll. But when you remove it, you will have to deal with the gummy residue.
Double-sided tape.
I would use a rubber rug pad like this. Sometimes the rubber backing of the rug itself is not a sticky rubber and you need a different surface for non-slip. https://www.amazon.com/Gorilla-Grip-Original-Available-Protection/dp/B01N29EYVX?ref_=Oct_BSellerC_3735721_0&pf_rd_p=743f3c74-5e52-5b1e-9be9-551cda222c2c&pf_rd_s=merchandised-search-10&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_i=3735721&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=64HA2TZ1A2Z7K6PB29S0&pf_rd_r=64HA2TZ1A2Z7K6PB29S0&pf_rd_p=743f3c74-5e52-5b1e-9be9-551cda222c2c
A few globs of hot glue on the corners and center. Carpet tape fails and is a pain to remove. I know!
I use the carpet tape that looks like an open screening, it doesn't rip up the floor, easily removed, and sticks good. I use it on all my elderly and disabled clients.... https://www.amazon.com/Roberts-50-580-Indoor-Anti-Slip-Gripper/dp/B0078S2D0W/ref=sr_1_92?keywords=carpet+tape&qid=1563823063&s=gateway&sr=8-92 Apply to back of rug, rub on good, then tear off the backing an put on the floor, rub good with your foot to stick on good.
