Which colors should I use when decorating with paneling?

    I would say white is timeless and I would stick with that

    Darlene: you can never go wrong with a neutral... white, beige, taupe, or grey

    Hi Darlene,

    Are you decorating a room that has paneling on the walls? If that's what you're doing, I'd use neutral colors for main items, but use my favorite colors for actual decoration. That means pillows, curtains, artwork on walls and/or tables, maybe a small blanket or afghan over the back of a chair. That's what gives the room a pop. Wishing you the best.

    Any nice color would work. Choose yiur patterns first as in rug, drapes, upholstery. Pick your wall color from that.

    I would go with whatever color/shade you will love for the longest time. Going with trendy colors on something that will be up for a long time is a risk because you may end up hating it in a few years. When we did our wood floors my husband wanted light, I wanted dark, so we met in the middle. Four years later I still love them.
