Here's a great idea from Lowe's that uses unfinished kitchen cabinets to make a corner bench seat unit. You might be able to find some good used kitchen cabinets at a local thrift store inexpensively for this project. I found some used kitchen cabinets to make an entryway bench seat/shoe storage to use by my front door. I used upper cabinets (the kind you find above a range or fridge because they are shorter and narrower than base cabinets. I only spent about 25.00 total to make it!
