How do I remove brush and vines without killing my trees?

If you mean any kind of herbicide it will kill all, no way around it because it goes to the root of the brush and vines as well as the trees, then into the soil and of course the runoff.

The best way is probably not what you want to hear is for you or hire someone to go in and manually clear it out, bag it up and compost or properly dispose of. If your county offers yard waste pickup, then look at their guidelines on what they accept.

Hand removal is the only way to keep your trees safe. You can work on it a bit at a time or hire it done, but any spray would harm your trees. :(

Just suit up and get out there and remove by hand. Dig out the vines making sure to get all the roots. No reason to use toxic chemicals unless necessary. Or hire a clean up crew if you don't want to do yourself.
