Which kind of fertilizer do you recommend for tomato plants?

I HATE TO SEND MONEY ON SO MANY DIFFERENT PLANT FERTILIZER?

    We added pureed calcium to prevent blossom rot (not just crushed it needs to be fine like powder) and also Epsom salts to aid in growth, but the only fertilizer we use is Miracle gro.

    I use ground up egg shells and coffee grounds (mixed into the soil) and bury banana peels into the soil.

    I have an old blender on my kitchen counter. I put banana peels, orange peels, apple cores and/or peels, coffee grounds, tea leaves or bags, everything but the kitchen sink , add water and blend. The plants on my patio/pot garden thrive from all the good stuff that would usually go down the drain. I'm from the generation that lived

    Miracle Grow specifically for tomato plants. There are several kinds of Miracle Grow--for your tomatoes you want to use the tomato variety. My box usually lasts into the second growing season. I alternate watering with the Miracle Grow and Epsom salt water. I have the nicest tomatoes ever!
