How can I clean a very dirty stove?

    If you can take outside, that is your best bet. I used to work at cleaning base housing so they could pass inspection to move out. We took them outside, took the burners off and the grill covers. Spray everything with oven cleaner like easy off, except for the burners. They are made of a lighter weight metal and oven cleaner will discolor or eat into the metal, plus clog the holes. Let sit for at least an hour, then power wash off. Tip the stove a little to have all the water drain out and let dry. Then put back inside and re assemble.

      She said filthy. And if you don't want to have clean a big mess on your floor also...It works. Also never failed an inspection.
