Start with a good cleaning to remove all dirt and residue.

    1 cup baking soda

    1 cup white cleaning vinegar

    1 Tbsp blue Dawn

2 gallons hot water (I boil about 1/3 of mine)

If the shine is gone, you can try applying a product like Mop & Glo.

Don't use Mop and Glow or Holland House products, It will ruin your vinyl flooring.

Clean with Bona or purchase Zep cleaner from Home Depot.

    Hi Tammy,

After many years of caring for a home, I've come to the conclusion that shiny vinyl floors are overrated. They show every scratch and I, personally, have a lot more things to do that to constantly be concerned about my shiny floor. Plus products like Mop & Glo build up and change color to a yellow, yucky looking mess. Removing the buildup and starting over takes more time than I am willing to give a floor. :) I agree with Kathy, use baking soda, vinegar & Dawn, but don't use a product like Mom & Glo. Wishing you the best.
