I would like to make my own framed canvas art by using a self-adhesive 36"x48" wall mural and a blank framed canvas board. How can I do this?

If your wall mural is all ready self adhesive it should be fairly easy to stick in on the canvas board. I would use a credit card to carefully smooth out any bubbles. Carefully so you don't make any tears in your mural.

Get your canvas board and paint it with gesso to prepare it for applying the mural. Then you should be able to apply the mural to the canvas board.
I believe a canvas panel this size would be cost prohibitive. But maybe that is not a factor? This portrait is 40" X 80 " and my husband stretched and gessoed the canvas himself. It cost about $40 for the canvas. . . maybe you could use a canvas drop cloth.
