How can I clean a dirty fiberglass shower base?

  • Fill a spray bottle with a 50/50 solution of Dawn dish soap and vinegar. Spray it on the shower base and let it work. If they are tougher stains, you may have to scrub with a plastic scrubbie!

I wet the shower floor sprinkle liberally with Comet with bleach to remove the stains and let sit for about 30 minutes to let the bleach do it's thing. Then scrub with an old plastic net scrubber that is used for washing yourself in the shower. When they become all floppy from use in the shower they get repurposed as household scrubbers.

Use easy off oven cleaner, the original. Spray it on wait 15-30 minutes, then wipe off, works great

Sprinkle baking soda all over it and wet it .Let sit for about an hour then rub off. It is natural and is good for the drain also. Eliminates odors.

Hi Dianna, hope this helps you out.

Fill a bucket with vinegar. Apply vinegar to the fiberglass shower by soaking a rag or sponge in the solution and wiping it directly onto the doors. You could also apply the vinegar with a spray bottle. Let the vinegar sit for about 10 minutes before rinsing it down the drain with clean, warm water. Repeat for stubborn dirt.
