How can I clean a stain in the toilet?

I have a brown stain in the bottom of a toilet. Is there a way to get it out?

    I use a pumice stone for hard water rings. It might work for you.

    Hi Karen, I use the works toilet bowl cleaner and have not found a stain it will not get out and I rent so there have been a few bad ones. Don't buy the one that says basic because it is the really cheap version. They carry it at walmart. If it is super bad you might have to let it soak and maybe do it another time but it works.

    Lime away works wonders or you could try iron out if it is really bad.Do not know if iron out is safe for septic.

    Lysol Lime & Rust Remover Toilet Bowl cleaner, comes in a black squirt bottle. Scrub with Scrub Daddy or Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. If stubborn, use a scouring stick to scrub. Make sure you plunge and remove all the water so that you get the full effect of the cleaner.
