How can I clean a stain in the toilet?

I use a pumice stone for hard water rings. It might work for you.

Hi Karen, I use the works toilet bowl cleaner and have not found a stain it will not get out and I rent so there have been a few bad ones. Don't buy the one that says basic because it is the really cheap version. They carry it at walmart. If it is super bad you might have to let it soak and maybe do it another time but it works.

1. Pour 1 cup of vinegar (approximately 240ml) into the toilet bowl. ...
2. Add about 1 cup of baking soda and then add another 1-2 cups of vinegar. ...
3. Leave to sit for about 5 minutes, and then scrub the toilet making sure the solution reaches all the stains in the toilet.

Lime away works wonders or you could try iron out if it is really bad.Do not know if iron out is safe for septic.

I would try the pumice stone!

Lysol Lime & Rust Remover Toilet Bowl cleaner, comes in a black squirt bottle. Scrub with Scrub Daddy or Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. If stubborn, use a scouring stick to scrub. Make sure you plunge and remove all the water so that you get the full effect of the cleaner.
