This is what it looked like when I started. It needed a change!

Prime and paint the mantel. Use as many coats of paint as you need to for full coverage.

Scrub the brick with a wet microfiber cloth.

Mix paint with water. I did about 70% water, 30% paint. You can always add more paint.

Carefully brush on your paint mixture. Brush wet and dry and dab to achieve a natural look.

Brush your high heat paint onto any gold or brass with a foam brush. Apply several coats as needed.

Before and After! Make sure to let your paint dry for 24 hours before styling. Enjoy!

      Have U seen the stenciling on floor tile? That would look great and save a big mess. Paint it and stencil it. Check it out on this site.
