This Fall makes your own doormat using only your Cricut or Silhouette, some vinyl and outdoor paint. You will be the talk of the neighborhood with this cute fall doormat idea. If you need another doormat idea that you can use all the time, try this welcome mat, both come with a free file.

Pour the paint into a paint pallet or right on your vinyl.

After you have chosen a design, or you can go grab this one for free here. Cut the design using your machine, weed then transfer the design to the transfer paper then transfer to the coir mat using the transfer tape.

Carefully pull up the transfer tape from the vinyl, it will be very sticky.

Once you have transferred your custom made stencil to your mat, tape down all the outside edges of the vinyl stencil and pat down the adhesive or use a heat gun or blow dryer to help it stick.

Gather all of your supplies, you will need a coir mat, adhesive vinyl, paint, paint brushes and transfer tape.

Using your paint brush, dab each color onto the coir mat where you want it.

After you are done painting, immediately remove the vinyl from the mat. If there are places that need to be touched up then take your paint brush and carefully dab those areas.

Allow to dry 24 hours before using.
