Goo Gone has been my go-to remover!
Try some shampoo in a bit of warm water. You can also try wetting a sponge and wringing it out just until damp and then apply the shampoo to the sponge to wash off the wall and woodwork. Rinse/wipe with clear water and dry with a soft cloth.
This is something I've been working at myself in my bathroom door. I tried magic eraser but that took a bit of shine off the paint. Goo gone might do the same thing. I think some of the issue is when the hairspray is left to dry it etches the paint/finish. The only real solution might be to repaint/refinish, sadly.
Dawn dish soap, shampoo or rubbing alcohol will all work.
Baby shampoo in warm water with a damp sponge.
I use Dollar Tree Awesome Orange and if really built up a round plastic scrubby to get that lacquer hair spray Aqua Net off my clients floor and wall.
