How do you repair wood-based laminate w/o removing the whole floor?

Yes, how bad is it?
You will have to take off rows until you reach the damaged area to be repaired. If say it was the third one down from the skirting board and the first one in. Then you would remove 3from the skirt 2from the next row now the one you need to change. Best of luck with it. Its always a tricky one.
Cut the damaged laminate down the middle with a circular saw and pry the pieces out. Cut the tongue off the replacement piece, apply some construction adhesive, and pop it in place.
