Rub an ice cube over it and then it should pry off with a thin blade or scraper
Put ice against the wax , then when the wax gets cold use a scrapper or spatula to pop the wax off . Wax becomes brittle when it gets cold !

Get a brown paper bag and a iron iron the bag over the wax keep moving the bag to a clean spot till gone

Take an ice pack or ziplock bag filled with ice to get it as cold as possible. Use a plastic spatula to scrape off.
