Christmas will be here before you know it so get started now on all those craft projects. Here's a really easy on that you can make with your kids or grand-kids.

Who doesn't have a collection of buttons? Raise your hands!! Even if you aren't a sewer if you are a crafter or had a mom or grandma who was then chances are you have buttons. I do too, some were my sweet grandmas and some I picked up at craft stores.

You can make your button Christmas ornaments in any colors you want but last year I did a lot of crafts in pink and green. This craft requires only a few supplies.

Sort out your buttons in the size and color you want. I made little Christmas trees with mine so stack up your buttons in graduating sizes.

When you have the stack how you like them feed a Doll Needle with embroidery floss through the top. Wiggle it until you get through one hole in each button.

Thread the needle up through the other the opposite holes and finish with a knot and a small decorative button on top. Then tie the top pieces together to make the hanger for the tree.

Make a few of them in different colors for your tree, or add them to wrapped gifts as part of a gift tag.

Don't they look so cute? I used contrasting pink and green embroidery floss on trees.

You can make these in any colors you love best and everyone who receives them will love them!
