How can I repair a tulip chair (pic)?

It’s cracked on the seating area and I would really love to repair it.
Have you thought about trying Gorilla glue? I hear it's really good!
I do actually use that a lot but was hoping to have the mend invisible. I will give it a go though, thank you.
Get some clear cement glue glue it then duck tape it secure to stay put
Take your time to research what the actual plastic is! I have a MCM piece that needs to be cemented or epoxied myself.
If one puts the wrong glue on it, like gorilla glue, which is polystyrene, which is the wrong glue for that era, it will be ruined!
This is really not the forum for that, I recommend joining some mid century modern forums.
Two part epoxy for plastics should work. Use blue painters tape to hold the crack together until dry. Remove any squeeze out with nail polish remover before dry.
You could try Bondo epoxy for a DIY repair. But I would take the chair to an auto body shop and ask them to repair it---should be a reasonable price for a small job They could repair the chair so that you couldn't tell it was ever damaged---or at least tell you how to do a good repair. Good luck!
