How do you get rid of "scorch" marks on your laundry?
I think it's probably the cork liner between the dryer frame and the tub. Clothes get caught in between and get overheated leaving a scorch mark. Is it a huge job to replace the cork

I would make some enquiries of the Company that made the dryer or a spare parts co. Then ask for a repairman to give you a price to fix it for you. Then you will be able to weigh up the costs and decide what to do!
As for the scorch marks , Try washing them again using a stain remover. Or maybe Stain Devil have a remover for scorch. Somewhere in the back of my head I keep thinking - Milk?? Hope that's of some help.
Do not dry anything that stains in wash, it will bake in the stain. Hang to dry.
