Been doing this method for 40 years, spray with oven cleaner (yes oven cleaner) let sit for several hours, rinse with water, scrub with a stiff brush, or green scrubber, rinse again with hot water. DO NOT BREATHE FUMES,,, ie hold your breath while spraying,,,, no problem with fumes after a few hours or during rinsing

hydrogen peroxide and a narrow scrub brush gave me great results. If you Let it sit for 10 minutes or so, it needs very little scrubbing.
