How do I reinforce hardwood floors from buckling?

  • Chances are they were insalled incorrectly, not leaving enough room for expasion and contraction throughout the seasons. Who installd them? When? What brand?

    • You are most welcome Anita! I understand about the surgery thing, I am going today to schedule one myself. I live alone with a bunch of pets, so I understand about waiting till you have recovered. Yes, photo would certainly help. Can you live with it "as is" until you recover?

    Hardwood shouldn't buckle, but like Naomie said, they may have been installed wrong. There really isn't a way to reinforce them.
