i had this problem to the point I thought I would have to replace carpet BUT...mix 1 cup hydrogen peroxide with about 3-4 drops of Dawn ,mix it and put it in a spray bottle. Spray the stain and blot with a clean white rag THEN spray with plain water and blot again...saved me a ton of money! Hope it works for you
I tried some of this and it didn't work. Bought some Folex stain remover for carpet. Sprayed the stains and used some in carpet cleaner and it got the stains out! Some were older stains...dark colored spills on beige carpet

I use Young Living’s Thieves Cleaner on my rugs to spot treat them and it works great!
