How do I get nail polish off my end table?
I accidentally spilled my polish on my oak end table. I got most of the wet polish wiped up but there are a couple rough spots.

Hi Karen, the problem with nail polish is what takes it off (acetone) will also remove any clear coat finish on the top of your end table. I think if it were me I would go ahead and use nail polish remover then do a little light sanding with fine grit sand paper to even out any inconsistencies that the acetone may have caused and then reapply a coat of clear coat to the top.

If you use any sand paper, glue a small bit to the end of a new pencil eraser.
Have you tried nail polish remover on a Q-tip to clean it up?
