Just finished blooming with 3 spikes, and its time to repot. I want the same size pot, but i do not know what to do with all those roots to make them fit in the same size pot.
Don't know what kind of plant you have. Some do best when 'pot bound' meaning they like to have roots close together. If you have the name of the plant put it in a google search and check the info that comes up. It may be you will have to buy a larger pot or at least taller.
Cut off the stem to about an inch. Don't cut the roots and leave them out of the soil. It probably doesn't need to be repotted. Now is the time to fertilize.

They like roots in air, as this is how orchids grow naturally.
