What paint/primer should I use to paint insulation board?
Going to make scenery n want to paint some donated insulation board...it seems to bleed...is there something I should use first?

I would paint a primer layer first. You can try a regular white latex wall paint, and if that doesn't work, use gesso----- the same coating that's used on canvas for paintings.

Hello Janerose, Acrylic paint works good on this material, but honelstly, you should prime it, just to give yourself a nice surface to start your painting on,.
I made my own gesso with baby powder
