Dampen a white cotton towel, fold it in half and place it over the wax. Press an iron set on “high” over the towel for 10 seconds. The heat will draw the wax out of the carpet and into the towel. Repeat until the wax is gone (you may have to hold the iron in place for up to 30 seconds).
You can also use brown paper bags. The iron draws the wax into the brown paper.
Hello. Warm iron and clean rag to reabsorb wax and transfer from rug to rag.
Paper towel, medium temperature iron, dispose paper towel, repeat until wax is gone. Clean iron right away with old cloths and vinegar.
There's a great guide here - just use a paper bag and an iron! https://www.hometalk.com/diy/clean/carpet/how-to-get-wax-out-of-carpet-44824237
use clean rag or kitchen roll and a warm iron to melt it out.
Start with freezing the wax with and ice cube or a freezer pack. with a dull knife scrape out as much as you can. Then take a warm iron (no steam) and iron paper towels or a brown paper bag (plain side down) and draw the wax out with that, check often.
