How can I elevate an outdoor rug so the patio underneath can dry?

When it rains my patio floods and my indoor/outdoor rug becomes a soggy mess and won't dry out. I need a way to lift the rug off the cement floor and allow the water to pass through. Does anyone have any inexpensive ideas?

You could make a small pallet step to put the rug on. Don't know how deep it gets or what kind of doorway you are going into. You don't want to block it. Otherwise you will just have to pick up and let dry

i would vacuum patio with a wet vac. Or you could fold it over in sections so it could be exposed to sun. When that section dried you could fold over another section.

  • Drag it out and drape it over lawn furniture or a fence in the sun.
