Where? Hardwood? Carpet?
Hi Jessie: Here are a couple of sites that may help:
I have used a product called Odormute. PetSuppliesPlus used to carry it, but you can get it on line. It took the stain and smell out of my floor, and I found it after 16 years! I didn't know the cats and dogs were using the corner under the end table as a potty:( I have a basement, and sprayed the area from the top and the bottom, let it sit over night and did it again. Then, the few spots that were left, I used hydrogen peroxide on it like they say in the links above.
On hardwood floors or something else?
On hardwood floors I would use wood bleach.
The finish will have to be sanded away there and the bleach put only on the spots.
Hi Jessie. I'm Cindy. You could mix one-quarter cup of Hydrogen Peroxide, one-half cup of Baking Soda, and one teaspoon of Dawn dish soap. If your stain is on carpet, blot this on with a clean cloth, don't rub as that would push the stain further into the carpet fibers. Best wishes headed your way.
You can use hydrogen peroxide to lighten the spots. Put it on and set a damp cloth over it. repeat as needed.
Training your dog is the only long-term solution, OP.
I love my dog so much but it constantly did the things that irked me most. It would chew on things that it shouldn’t or jump up and down out of the blue. Whenever I put on the leash, it would pull on it. Whenever it was out of the house, it would continue digging on the ground - I wish I could tell what it was looking for down there. All the things it did left me feeling depressed as if I failed it monumentally.
But since I discovered Brain Training for Dogs and applied the system offered, it now behaves the way a beautiful dog I always expect of.
