Hello, I was using bed risers on two queen beds due to lack of storage and closets in my home. I was always fearful of the bed falling off the riser and upset by the extreme height it added to need to climb into bed.

My solution.......I got rid of my bed risers and purchased a steel frame. Im very very pleased with 14” clearance and storage bin available-option below. Bed does not move and worked wonderfully for guests. Available at stores and online—- have a look. I was able to attach my cherry headboard to my particular frame, I believe with these Walmart frames its a separate purchase for headboard mount—, but more economical than what i paid. Hope this helps!

I recently bought a metal bed frame with 14 inches on clearance for storage under it. Love it. So nice to be able to really use that wasted space under the bed. I got mine at amazon. Seems like it was around $80 but i went for a heavy duty one after reading customer reviews.

Type Zinus Shawn bed frame into the search bar. Very good brand.
