Is there a DIY solution for getting rid of fleas?

What kinda of DIY stuff do you have for fleas in your home? We don’t have any pets now and they are horrible?

Are you seeing fleas? As in are they fleas for sure?

I would bug bomb the house, vacuum everything including sofa cushions & then throw away the vacuum bag, to get all the eggs.

Then I would salt the carpet & the cushions and let it set for 5 days & then bug bomb again, as I expect some babies will have survived.

If you’re not seeing fleas for sure, then there’s other bugs to look for.

I find the homemade stuff isn't strong enough. You need to either use flea bombs two weeks apart 3 times or call an exterminater.

Call an exterminator and treat your yard. Some areas of the country are more prone to fleas and ticks.
