you can open beer and let it sit out for a few hours
Pour in in a bowl and let it sit.
If a opened just sits out on the counter for 4 or 5 hours it should become stale.
Open it and let it sit for a few hours. Use cheap beer too, no point in wasting money by using premium brands.
An opened room temperature beer goes stale very fast, probably within a couple of hours.
