Do I need to use paving sand when landscaping with bricks?
Someone said I need to put 2-inch of Paving sand down for the bricks to stay in place.

Really need to research what you are planting how the roots grow so you do not have future problems with destruction of drain pipes,foundation,fence lines,patios; these grow fast and make great privacy borders & are Native to N. America(please do not plant any Asian species/not Native)I'm assuming ypu live in statrs? you do not say where you live?? this is world wide site so it will matter what you plant Also....Shady area? Full sun?Wet?dry/arid? Freezing temps? temps over hundred degrees?how tall do you need the barrier? how close is close? 1ft-5ft too many questions to really give good trees/shrubs for what you need
