How can I decorate arch openings between rooms?

I have two arch openings that are the lengh of 1/2 the wall and the rest is a wall. I'd like to hang something in them to give a nice divider look between the two walls. Any suggestions.

I suggest you send us pictures.

Hanging something in the middle of an arch is considered bad Feng Shui as it cuts the good Chi in half, thereby killing it.

    Beaded curtain.

How about tall slender vases with tall foliage in them to serve as a visual barrier? Or narrow planters that would sit on the bottom part of the arches with tall plant or trellis type vines?

I am not sure I understand what you are wanting to do, but I would love to offer help! Are you trying to find something to place in the archways or on the other 1/2 of the wall? If it is something in the arch way because you don't feel you need both arch ways, I just did a post here on HomeTalk that you may be interested in taking a look at! It is a DIY Faux Barn Door Room Divider! Let me know if that is not what you are talking about though! Lol! Hope that helps!

Thank you all. I'll try to take a picture tomorrow. I don't want to totally blovck the openings as they separate the living room from the tv room and from there is a patio door and you can see the lake out back.

I was trying to figure how to suspend shelves and have little things (that I started to collect recently) and put air ferns in them. They wouldn't block the views but would add a bit of whimsy to the area.

All have a good evening. Thanks again for responses.

Oh 'Inspired Workshop" I love the look of Barn Doors wish I had a place for them.
