My master shower keeps getting a red stain from out of the show head. This only happens there.What should I do?

This normally means excess iron in your water...take a sample of your water to a testing facility and have it checked...once you know what is in the water you can develop a plan to fix it. Treatment can be a simple "filter" to more complex "green sand" type rigs. The concentration of the contaminate and your usage rates will "size" the system

Oh...almost forgot if it is only present here...it might be an iron pipe thing...testing water from different sources will sniff it out. If it is a pipe thing you could replace that section with copper ...though that normally means tearing up a wall or two.

you can google water treatment in your local area...you will find lots of companies...I have also received product from various online companies. Raindance and pelican are a couple of well know lines
