I have large tall filecabinets that are being thrown away. Is there anything else I can do with with them besides. Taking them to the dump.

Have the footboard which is the mate to my full size headboard. Not going to use it for its “real” purpose. I’ve seen hooks added so you can hang things on it. ... See more

Hi Olivia,
The first and only thing that came to mind is to put a potted plant there, like a patio tomato plant, you could use the upright poles for a cage, wrapping support material around the outside if needed.
Hopefully other Hometalkers will have some really good ideas to repurpose this. Best to you.
Is it sturdy enough to be used as a small seat? You could cover it with padding and a bit of fabric to make it into a unique-shaped foot stool or small seat.
Maybe spray paint the color you'd like and put glass cut to fit for a table. Unicorn Spit could give it a lively look.
Here's a crazy idea-- Place it at the corner of your deck or patio ( away from overhangs) and stick tiki torches in the holes. Light them when outside at night for ambiance and to keep away the mosquitoes. :)
Put it in your garage and put and long handle tools in it.
Wash it first, then bring it into the house to use as a wrapping paper roll stand. Accessories such as tape, ribbon, etc. could be attached with jumbo binder rings or carabiner clips, or zip ties.
