How can I convert my mudroom into a useful space?
I have a beautiful 110 year old home and theres a mudroom with beautiful stained glass windows. Since it's in the back of the house and we don't enter through the back-it's not serving any real purpose. What can I turn that area into?

Hey Sartura! Your home sounds beautiful! How large are the windows? Could it be a sun room? Or, do you already have a large laundry room? I could imagine doing laundry in a beautiful room of stained glass! That would be amazing!
Indoor garden area for herbs and plants
Do you need a pantry? My house does not have one and it is the number one thing I wish I had. What exposure does the room receive? North, South, east or west? That might be a determining factor as to what to convert it to. Do you have kids? Might be a great homework space. A reading nook? If you are into plants and gardening, it might be a great plant / sunroom.
I love the reading room idea! How great would it be to curl up on a comfy chair with a good book and have that beautiful stained glass surround you!
Wow! Thanks everyone for your suggestions. The picture is not a good one-but you can get an idea of the windows. I'm loving the reading room idea. No young children, don't like plants, have a laundry room.....
Keep the ideas coming!
