Orchids do really well indoors.
Flowers need some sunlight in the day, african violets like indirect light. Just greens I love philodendron for low light, and my begonia likes indirect light most the day, my geranium I have under a window and it does well although most of its light is indirect. Hope this helps Lisa to get you started. When you visit a nursery read the tags in the dirt and they will tell you how much light. If you see one you like you will know right away if it will do will with low light as the tag will tell you. Hope this helps!
