Can I use wax on dull laminate to shine the floor?

We installed a lovely light driftwood gray laminate floor in our home. I love the color but wish the finish wasn't so dull looking. I have serious concerns about coating it with anything that would scratch or wear off quickly. Has anyone ever put a wax or anything on your laminate?

First, make sure they are thoroughly clean with no build up from prior product use. Add a few drops of baby oil to your mop solution.

Some laminate flooring is shiny and some is matte. Mine is matte and I just clean it with a vinegar/water solution and dry it with a towel. Has some shine to it when it is clean.
