You can "melt" Downy unstoppables in hot water or the Gain equivalent, then put in a spray bottle.

You are one smart lady. I have known for a long time about the chemicals in Febreze and other products like it. These chemicals affect your animals and can eventually make them sick. However, I have read about the essential oils and the jury is still out about that but I do know some of them are toxic to cats.

Take one tablespoon of lemon juice, one teaspoon baking soda and two cups of hot water in to a spray container. Store in refrigerator. Is good for two to four weeks. Shake before using. Optional: you can add two to three drops of essential oil but I do not use these oils.
