How can I hang wrought iron from the ceiling for use as a pot hanger?
Wish to upcycle a wrought iron twin headboard into a pot hanger. My husband says this can't be done as it will fall...no matter what. I've seen a lot of heavier things from ceilings! Any advice, suggestions? I'll post pics asap. TIA

There should be holes in it from screws use those and put at least 5 inch Sheetrock screws in Maher shure you get them in the stud you could hang from chains or screw in the ceiling
Would you have space to hange at angle in corner!? Definitely eyelet anchor screws to secure to wall, bigger may be better, make sure into frame/trus board n not just wall or ceiling... use thick chain for it to hang fromeyelets n this S hooks... if hanging just from ceiling, if u have access to attic b best, could use U bolts that fit over trus board n down thru ceiling an thru the headboard n bolt tightly... at least n idea n e way!!?? Lol
I would use some long eye bolts through the bed frame with a bridle to run the chain through.. Drill the holes in the bed using a carbide bit large enough to pass the bold through, then through the chain, and then apply nut with a large washer. Have one long chain from corner to corner on each side. This chain should be cut to have the top fold down to the eye bolts the will put the pot rang hang at the right height. i.e. if you want it 15" from the ceiling go for a chain 35"
Then to hang from the ceiling, find your ceiling joists, this may require a trip to the attic, or use a stud finder, to locate and pre-drill 2 holes slightly smaller than your 2 large lag bolts to screw into the joist above.
