MY BIKE, UNFORTUNATELY, SPENT LAST WINTER ON THE PORCH IN MASSACHUSETTS, EXPOSED TO THE ELEMENTS. I'VE MOVED TO FLORIDA & WANT TO START RIDING IT.

I like using wire brushes on a dremel to remove rust. It works well!

fine steel wool or aluminum foil crunched up in ball rub the heck out of it

  you don't tell us if the rusted pieces are chrome,or painted either way this will remove rust but if it's pitted from rust you'll need to use rust inhibitor or it will rerust especially in Florida from humidity the spray paint would be good way to stop it. or a clear sealer spray paint if its chrome
