How do I use old mini blinds as a back splash
Here's a tutorial for you, Darla:
There’s previous posts on this.
Be very careful about water splashing on a surface it has multiple seams in it, right around the sink. One doesn’t want mold growing underneath us.
If they are the faux wood kind....it’s great. Clear off the space for the backsplash, I cut random lengths on wood, put glue on each piece and stuck them vertically. I gently held some pieces with masking tape so they wouldn’t slip. I let dry and then took tape off. Only one piece was a little wonky when I finished ....so I propped it out and replaced it. The wood glue I put on was quite thick so be careful it doesn’t ease out the sides. A friend of mine painted her with acrylic paint and a sponge before she put hers on in two colours and used glue gun instead of wood glue for easier removal.
