At the homedepot they sell a spray paint for tubs, you have to sand the tub first.
Be prepared. It's a lot of work. you have to steel wool the whole tub. It's a lengthy process. Make sure to read the instruction and follow to a T.
It will just peel again. First you have to use paint stripper to remove and start over. Lots of big mess. It has to be 100% removed and cleaned before you can use the epoxy paint kits made for tubs.
Who painted the bathtub the first time? As in what kind of paint is it?
What is underneath the paint? Is it a plastic/acrylic bathtub? Or is it a enameled steel bathtub? Or is it a porcelain bathtub?
Hi Emelin, first you will need to sand off the peeling paint and give it a good cleaning with TSP (trisodium phosphate), here is a video to guide you, also pay attention to proper cleaning of the finished product. Hope this helps
