If pan has burned-on grease inside that you are fighting: fill to top with hot water and soak overnight with 2-3 USED Dryer Sheets. Yes, used Dryer Sheets!

If problem is also on outside: Submerge pan in hot water (NON-ELECTRIC ONLY!) with 2-3 USED Dryer sheets, soaking overnight.

Clean as usual. If not satisfied with results, repeat above.

What is the pan made of?

If it is stainless steel, you can use steel wool on it and scrub the heck out of it and it will survive.

If it is aluminum with a Teflon coating and you have burned the Teflon coating, treat yourself to a new pan, because burned flaking Teflon coating is very bad to ingest.
