I find that when my icemaker starts making "smelly" ice that I can clean my icemaker, however it only slightly helps. The issue usually is my filter for the waterline. Try wiping down the bin and the equipment, replacing the water filter according to the manufacturer's directions (mine is located at the bottom of my frig from behind the front vent by the floor), put the icemaker on high to get out the less-filtered water and see if that works. You can remove your icemaker from the freezer and clean it, but I have found that my ice smells like chemicals for a while after that no matter how much I rinsed the cleaner out.

    Good luck.
