How do I remove blue sharpie from painted drywall? I've tried nail polish remover, Clorox wipes, baby wipes, hand sanitizer and toothpaste...

Hi Donna. I'm Cindy. Rubbing alcohol should remove it. If that doesn't work, try hairspray. - the cheaper, the better. Try to blot the sharpie ink so you don't set the stain. Wishing you well, Donna.

It is permanent ink-- sorry -- best to VERY LIGHTLY sand area to get rid of the marks, then re-paint/touch up feathering edges area of new paint. Let dry completely. Dust some dusty - "dirty" wall areas (like baseboard tops) using a clean WHITE rag. Using the dirty rag, gently rub dirty cloth over newly painted wall area, blend in to match the surrounding wall. This will give an "aged" appearance to the new paint. It shoud all blend in perfectly & no one will be the wiser! I used this techniue for a client, who splattered bathroom walls wih BLACK HAIR DYE--- it was a nightmare. When finished, the whole wall looked the same as the surrounding ten year old decor! GOOD LUCK -- do it ALL very gently ... results will be amazing!

I have used a Magic Eraser to remove marker stains. I did have to do a bit of touchup with paint.
