How do I paint/seal a deck?
Have a large deck with benches that needs some tlc but I need to do it in the most efficient, not too expensive way for an upcoming party. Help!!!

I would consider a really good deck cleaner, scrub and wash. Home Depot sells several different options and with a garden hose and did bristled shop broom, you'll be done in an afternoon.
You'll probably be surprised how nice the wood will look underneath and you may find that after doing it, you'll be happy with the appearance. Paint/stain is a lifetime commitment to redoing the paint and stain every few years, especially if you use the deck a lot.
