2 hallways are long and dark. Any ideas for some lighting or lighting techniques to brighten the area?

Track lights or flex rail track lighting would work.

we are trying to stay away from a "spot light" effect. Wanting something that disperses light widely. Also, track/rail lighting tends to be very "modern", hi tech in style/design. The home is Pueblo style with arts/crafts furnishings.

Thanks for comment...I'm sure this will lead me to the right solution

Is it possible to create a faux window with frosted glass that hides some lights behind it? You could spray the glass in an old window with a light coat of white or light colored paint. I think there are also sprays that make glass look like they are etched. I actually saw this on line once. They used it on a blank wall at the end of their hallway.

Good idea. I'm a realtor trying to help my client resolve the "dark hallway" issue that buyers have commented on. They are pretty handy so I'm trying to give them some practical, inexpensive solutions. thank you for this suggestion
